Sandra Rodriguez was born and raised in a loving family from Brownsville, Tx. She graduated from Homer Hanna High school in 2007. She then graduated with honors from the University of Texas Pan American in 2011 where she received her Bachelor’s in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Psychology. During her time at UTPA, Sandra worked as a teaching assistant for biology. Always having an interest in medicine, she decided to then pursue her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Texas Pan American and graduated in 2013.
Since graduating, she now works with Dr. Segundo Lizardo and staff in Mercedes, Tx at the Mercedes Children’s Clinic.
Sandra now resides in Edinburg, Tx with her high school sweetheart and husband, Rodrigo, and her beloved basset hounds. She continues to strive to give the best possible healthcare to our pediatric community.
