LETICIA SERNA, PA-C

Leticia Serna is native to the Rio Grande Valley and was raised in Mercedes, Texas. She graduated from South Texas High School for Health Professions in 2000. In 2004 she received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas-Pan American. Upon graduating from college she taught high school science for seven years. During that time she was Sub-Department Head and was involved in U.I.L. science and the teacher mentorship program.

In 2011 she was accepted in the Physician Assistant Studies Program at UTPA where she received a Master of Physician Assistant Studies. She joined the team in Mercedes Children’s Clinic in the summer of 2014, where she is happily serving pediatric patients from her hometown of Mercedes.

We are excited to announce that we are now part of a new organization called Kaizen Clinical Partners.

RGV Adult & Internal Medicine Specialists, PA has joined forces with Donna Medical Clinic, PA and Pedro J. Peñalo, MD, PA in order to serve our community in the Rio Grande Valley through a stronger work force, better resources for our patients, and shared values. Together, we will create a sustainable healthy society by improving well-being in our communities. We will become better every year at delivering equitable, excellent, and efficient primary and preventive care to all we serve.
